Arcasia began because we wanted a realistic micronation built from something personal, close, and meaningful — not a mythical kingdom, not a fantasy realm, but a small, self‑defined nation created within our own space. It started as a way to:

  • create a place with its own rules and identity

  • build something structured and political, not imaginary

  • express culture, especially Gaelic influence

  • give meaning to a space that felt like your own territory

  • form a community and a government that felt intentional, even if small

we are the only recorded micro-nation on the Wirral and here is how.
